Our 5th grade classes hosted a Biography Museum Event! During this unit, each student chose a famous person of interest and researched their life. Students prepared a 1-2-minute speech and created a back drop using poster board, pictures and facts about the person’s life. Students even dressed up as their chosen person and presented their final speech and poster board display of biography research to everyone that was able to attend!


We would like to wish Adam Johnson the best of luck as he competes at States for Outdoor Track & Field this Friday, June 7th, at Cicero North Syracuse High School! Adam placed first in the 400m hurdles at the State Qualifiers and is now ranked #6 in NYS for this event!

Our Modified Baseball Team enjoyed a special ice cream treat for all of their hard work and dedication to the sport this season!


Congratulations to our Varsity Track & Field Athlete of the Week, Yasael Malave Perez! “Yasi dropped 2 seconds in the 800 on Saturday at State Qualifiers. He worked extremely hard and was ranked 13 going into State Qualifiers. He finished 10th overall. Yasi's hard work and dedication is a huge reason for his success,” said Coach James.

Our very own Alexis Roberts performed the National Anthem at the annual NYS Athletic Administrators Association Dennis E. Fries Chapter 5 Awards Luncheon today! Excellent job, Alexis!


Congratulation to Adam Johnson for placing first in the Outdoor Track & Field Boys 400 Hurdles at the Section V State Qualifiers today! Adam’s time was 56.73 and he will now compete in the State Championships next weekend!



Congratulations to our 4 track athletes who will be participating in State Qualifiers tomorrow, Saturday, 6/1! Adam Johnson will compete in the 400 and 110 hurdles, Sarina Johnson will compete in the 400, Yasael Malave Perez will compete in the 800 and Abby Provo will compete in the Discus Throw. State Qualifiers will take place at Newark High School beginning at 2:00pm.


We are excited to share that Mount Morris Elementary has some really great pieces of student art on display at the Mount Morris Dam Visitor Center! The artwork will be available for viewing 7 days a week from 10 am – 4:30 pm through Wednesday, June 19th. If your child has artwork on display, a letter was sent home.

We would like to wish our Varsity Golf Team the best of luck at Sectionals today as they compete against Filmore Central at Allegany Hills Golf Course at 2:00 pm!


Our MasterMinds team competed in the 42nd Annual National Academic Championship Tournament over the weekend. They were 1 of just 4 qualifying teams from NY eligible to compete this weekend with teams from across the world. The Championship focused on academic information and the questions were supplied by Questions Unlimited. Congratulations to our MasterMinds team on their academic success!


Our sixth grade classes enjoyed an outing to Darien lake for their Education Days event! Students learned about the physics behind roller coasters and forces in their classrooms and implemented their knowledge throughout the park where they explored math, science, and physics by observing (and RIDING) the mechanics of world-class coasters, thrill rides and more!


Congratulations to Gadge Savastano on his first place award in the audio category at the 2024 Digies competition with his music composition, "The One"! This is Gadge’s 4th consecutive year winning this award! The Digies is an annual digital media festival run by the School Library System of the Genesee Valley BOCES. Congratulations to Rowan Clester, Bryson Constantino and Aidan Stanley (as pictured) for advancing to the Golf Counties tournament, which took place at Bath Country Club on Wednesday!


Our Spring Music Concert and Art Show will be taking place on Wednesday, May 22nd! Elementary will begin at 6:30 pm, followed by our High School at 7:30 pm. Come early and enjoy the Art Show which will be open to family and friends beginning at 5:30 pm.


Please join us this evening, May 17th, for our MMPTSA's final Family Fun Night of the school year from 6-8 pm. There will be open swim, board games, a spring craft, open gym, face painting and a free pizza dinner! All children must be accompanied by an adult. We hope to see you there!
